A beautifully crafted vintage ring crafted in 850 platinum, featuring a lovely green oval cabochon jade measuring 6.76 x 4.95 and weighing 0.95 carat. Circa 1950-1960.
The jade is secured in a sculptural prong setting framed by a striking arrangement of sparkling diamonds weighing approximately 0.38 carat. The diamonds are a mix of round brilliant cuts and tapered baguettes, creating a dynamic, multi-dimensional cluster that enhances the center stone’s vibrant color.
One of the distinguishing features of this piece is the ornate openwork filigree gallery, composed of delicate scrolling motifs that showcase fine craftsmanship and add an elegant vintage flair. The shoulders transition smoothly into a polished platinum shank, allowing the decorative head to be the focal point.
